We have some exciting things coming your way from Dark Art & Craft. Starting this summer, we'll be releasing curated collections of prints and merchandise available for a limited time only. To start the series off, we are pleased to announce we're starting with a careful selection of work from Gustave Doré, named Fire & Sulphur as a homage to Midsummer's rituals and traditions.
Doré is no unfamiliar to our blog or social media. A prolific visionary beginning his career at the age of 15, he did woodcut illustrations for a French publication and quickly moved on to commissions for iconic texts such as Paradise Lost, Don Quixote and The Divine Comedy. During his lifetime, he was mostly celebrated for his painting work but Dore's woodcuts and engravings have been a wealth of inspiration of their very own for modern and contemporary dark Artists alike.
The following collection is a culmination of staff favorites, ranging from his illustrations of the Bible, Witches' Sabbaths, and some of our favorite monsters. Fire and Sulphur features a variety of apparel in tee, tank, crop top, and legging cuts, to give you some options based on your preferences. Also, can we talk about the shower curtains? Who doesn't want to have a rad shower curtain?

Stay tuned for our next collection, announcing August!
